History of the Event
Bustin' Loose began in 2006 with a small committee speculating on whether we could attract 100 participants willing to pay $25 each, with a modest goal of raising $2,500 to donate to the cause. Boy, did we under estimate the generosity and enthusiasm of Medicine Hat and area! Within the first five years, we raised more than a QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, who is working to create a future without breast cancer - funding some of the most relevant breast cancer research programs in the country.
